LOS ANGELES -- Tonight's 71st Golden Globe Awards (8 p.m.
ET) is sure to be a blast, especially when Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are running
the show. Get ready to laugh ... a lot.
When the Saturday Night Live alums are not busy giving
celebrities a hilariously hard time (cough, cough, looking at you Taylor
Swift), there are actually some awards to be excited about.
Leading the nominations from the Hollywood Foreign Press
Association with seven apiece are "12 Years a Slave" and
"American Hustle." "Nebraska" followed with five and
"Gravity" and "Captain Phillips" each received four.

Other heavy hitters that will be back in the spotlight
include Tom Hanks, nominated for his performance in "Captain
Phillips," Cate Blanchett for "Blue Jasmine" and Matthew
McConaughey for "Dallas Buyers Club."
Then, there's always the fashion. What will Jennifer
Lawrence and Amy Adams wear on the red carpet? And how about Sofia Vergara?
Poehler put it best when she told the Hollywood Reporter,
"When you host a show you have to hopefully be funny at the top and set
the tone for a really fun evening."
